Life Transitions

Even changes we choose can destabilize us. Graduation, a new career, relocation, marriage, divorce, parenthood, loss, changing relationships, receiving a diagnosis, entering a new stage of adulthood, or realizing that the life you’ve built no longer fits can all disrupt your sense of identity and direction. Transitions often contain contradictory emotions. You can be grateful and grieving. Excited and terrified. Certain about a decision and still mourn what you’re leaving behind.

In therapy we’ll hold those contradictions without forcing an immediate answer. We can explore what is changing, what you’re carrying forward, what you may be ready to release, and how you want to orient yourself toward whatever comes next.
